IDr. Joy Ejercito is the General Manager and Principal Designer of her own company, JJE Design and Construct or, in short, JJEDC (pronounced as jhed-see). In 1999, she co-managed, as the Vice President for Design, the family company called Diseno Lindo, a one-stop shop of construction, interior design, and furniture manufacturing. 

She earned her Bachelor of Interior Design from the University of the Philippines in Diliman in 1993. She then passed her licensure exam in 1994 which earned her the title IDr (Interior Designer) before her name. In June 2016, she graduated from UP Diliman with a degree of Master of Interior Design.  

Currently, she holds other positions aside from being BNI’s Regional Director and the Community Alliance Director. She is also an officer in the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID), Society for Cultural Enrichment Inc (SCEI), and Rotary Club of Makati Premier District (RCMPD), as well as, a member of the Best Dressed Women of the Philippines (BDWP) since 2018 and Century Tuna Tri Hard Triathlon Team since 2009.  

In the whole of BNI Philippines, she has earned to be the 4th top Green Member for the month of February 2021, as well as, she was given the 6-Star Gold Badge Award at the recently concluded Philippine National Conference, having inducted 37 members of her 180+ visitors. 

During the lockdown last year, she has become a vlogger and you may view her vlogs in the You Tube. Also, she is now the co-host in the online show for its 3rd season, “Two for the Road” and a columnist in the Interior Design section of the Profiles Magazine. 

But aside from that, she is a mom to 4 kids and a wife to a surgeon.
